what: evaluates health of dept.; mainly talk to faculty, have to write up report

who: visits us; composed of people in industry, deans/heads of depts. like ours at other schools, alums

when: every two years; 15-16 Feb

why: also talk to students. Time for us to voice concerns. Need representatives (12 to 16)

G&G: Kyle S, Will, Taylor, Kyle B

Planets: James D-F, someone 4th floor?, Erwan?, Vid

Want to make sure we have representation from women and international students.

2. Winter trip suggested as a 1-day bus trip to downhill ski resort, but was not much enthusiasm and no volunteers to plan it,

so no ski trip.

3. Thus, we have money to spend on other things:

A. themed peer hours

B. baseball (minor league game or sox)

4. Pick date for long pond

PAOC retreat 15-17 Sept.

many other conflicts...see when cabin is available before deicing

5. Need to organize Geology and G&G generals meetings (PAOC?)

(purpose: to have faculty inform incoming students what the requirements and expectations are for the general exam)
