Unconventional Energy and Environmental Applications
With growing energy needs and energy-related environmental concerns throughout the world, ERL has research projects focused on unconventional energy sources such as tight gas sands, geothermal resources, and methane hydrates. We have also turned our attention to critical environmental issues such as monitoring of CO2 sequestration in the subsurface and the characterization and imaging of near surface water contamination and related problems.
