Research Interests
My research focuses on the ore-forming potential of arc magmas and the application of geochemistry to magmatic-hydrothermal ore systems. I am particularly interested in: (1) the behavior of volatiles and chalcophile elements in arc magmas; (2) the timing and petrogenesis of porphyry and epithermal systems; (3) the physicochemical conditions that govern the formation of ore mineral systems; and (4) the geodynamic, magmatic, and metallogenic evolution of the Central Tethyan belt.
Topics I investigate:
- Mineral Resources
- Igneous Petrology
- Elemental and Isotope Geochemistry
- Geochronology
- Field Investigations
