LINK-12 — Science Demo Workshop

Do you have creative ideas on how to present your research to a K-12 audience? Are you interested in developing an engaging Earth science demonstration for outreach?

Who should attend:

• MIT EAPS students
• Postdocs and staff
• All EAPS disciplines
• Open to all! No need to be signed-up as a LINK-12 volunteer.

What we’ll do:

• Brainstorm demo ideas for K-12 students
• Identify target age groups
• Plan materials and test feasibility
• Try out our existing demos!
• Drop in anytime. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP.

The EAPS LINK-12 (Let’s INvest in K-12) program supports multiple outreach initiatives in the Greater Boston area, including classroom visits and participation in the Cambridge Science Festival.
