About the Organizer
LINK12 connects scientists in MIT’s Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences (EAPS) with K-12 educators throughout the Greater Boston area. Scientists visit classrooms to present interactive science demonstrations that are tailored to be relevant to ongoing course work in classes. Connecting with local schools allows our scientists to develop scientific communication skills for broad audiences and offers an opportunity to give back to local communities. With these goals in mind and through support from MIT grants, we are able to offer our services to schools free of charge. Please visit our page to learn more and submit an interest form!
