EAPS Annual Ornament Decorating Party and Ice Cream Social
Date: Thursday, November 20, 2025 Time: 3:00 - 4:00pm Location: Building 55 Atrium | Tina and Hamid Moghadam Building | MIT Campus, Cambridge, MAJoin us for the annual create-your-own ornament competition to decorate the EAPS Festivus Tree.
Bring your A-game and create a masterpiece to be beheld by your coworkers as it dangles from a branch, softly illuminated by twinkly lights.
Make it scientific. Or funny. Whimsical. Grinchy. Sporty. Whatever.
Don’t have time, you say? You’re in luck — we’ll have lots of crafting materials at the event.
And, as is EAPS tradition at tree decorating time, in lieu of cookies we will be serving a sundae bar, including dairy-free/vegan options!
Then, at the subsequent EAPS holiday party — Thursday December 4th — we’ll all vote on the most admired ornaments! The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ornaments will win prizes!
If you cannot make it to the decorating party you are still encouraged to make an ornament! Just add your ornament creation to the tree in the lobby before December 3rd. There will also be some crafting supplies you can use in HQ for the week or so leading up to the holiday party.
So take a break with us and get crafty! We hope to see you there and share some cheer!
